My Life, My Photography

I really don't know where i am going with photography. Everything i want to do want pay well or will be sooooo hard to get into. I really have to push my portfolio and portraiture. I want to start setting myself tasks and practicing lighting set ups that i have not attempted before.

Metamorphosis

This is series of mine, i have recently been feeling a bit different about myself. Elements are cropping up now . What do i do after university? this is the big question that is getting to me, having the lack of energy is heightening this saddened emotion. I wanted to shoot a series of self portraits that captured my inner emotions and feelings. ( sounds abit deep, sure il be fine after a night sleep, must be one of those days).

I wanted to use a limited amount of light as if it was painting my body and the less the viewer saw the more detail it gave.

I am in a bit of a creative rutt at the moment. I want to take photos mainly portraits but i don't have the energy to do things. I am usually the opposite i run around too much and get tied just before bed. iv yawned at least 5 times writing these 3 lines, i don't get whats going on. Maybe im ill or need more sleep for some reason, (yawn number 6) i belive a power nap will solve all my problems.

Iv been looking into Todd Hido again, his images just inspire me so much, i love his use of natural light when taken portraiture and how distant his sitter looks, its is almost a cacoon of her self we are seeing.

Im enjoying this blog experience so much iv got another on the go. I did not want to flood this blog with artist and inspiration iv got or found so iv decided to make a new one dedicated to that .
